"Ok, now, just attack me." Firestar mewed impatiently."Pretend I'm a NightTribe warrior crossing the border to steal prey."

"Hazelclaw, I need to see you..." Dawnstar starts. "Alone."

(I have no idea where this is going. xD)

"Okay..." Hazelclaw mews as he follows Dawnstar into her den. "What it is?" He asks.

"I had.. a dream, last night from SpiritTribe." Dawnstar said nervously.
"Cinderstar told me 'Watch out for those you trust the most.'"
She looked down.

"What?! Why would he say that? I'm your most loyal warrior so you know I can't be it. Who do you think it could be?" Hazelcalw asks. "You should talk to Blackwind." Hazelclaw suggests.

(Whitechest is going to be Firetail's evil partner instead okay?)

(K, but wouldn't Whitechest be a queen?)

"That's a good idea." Dawnstar said. She looked at Hazelclaw for a moment before leaving.

Mistpaw nodded and narrowed her eyes at her mentor. She feinted to one side and went the other way and made a lunge for Firetail's exposed stomach.

Firetail quick-stepped out of the way and Mistpaw stumbled forward. Firetail then pounced on top of the apprentice.
"You can do better than that!" he growled.

Hazelclaw walked out of Dawnstar's den and headed for the fresh-kill pile and grabs something to eat. He finishes his mouse and walks underneath the high rock. "Does everybody remember what patrol they're on? I'll announce the patrol's one more time," Hazelclaw mews. "Firetail, you're leading the NightTribe border patrol with Mistpaw and Swiftwhisker. Applefur, you lead the StormTribe border patrol with Grayfur and Mintpaw. And Goldenowl will lead the hunting patrol with Hawkpaw, Nightwhisper and Treepaw!" Hazelclaw finishes. "Does everybody know what patrol they're on?" Hazelclaw asks. Wait, Firetail and Mistpaw are at the training hollow. They will be on a dawn patrol. Hazelclaw remembers. "Firetail won't lead the NightTribe border patrol. Honeynose will. She'll take Cherrypaw, Cloudpaw and I with her." Hazelclaw adds.
Applefur nods and gathers his patrol up.
When Applefur and his patrol get to the border, Applefur scents where the borders are and marks them. He marks them more than he should to make sure no StormTribe cat's trespass on SunTribe territory.

Mistpaw wrigled out from under Firetail and jumped on his back quickl, jumped off, raked his flank with sheathed claw, and dart under his belly, raked it with heathed claws, then scrambled out quickly. She was a very promising apprentice, and she absolutly idolized Firetail for his strength.

"I have to admit that I wasn't expecting that." Firetail mewed to Mistpaw.
"I think we're done here."

Honeynose and her patrol walked towards the NightTribe border and marks it.
"I think we should hunt on the way back." she mews.
Honeynose scented a magpie, she crouched down into a hunting stance and stalked forward.

Mistpaw smiled and nodded as she started walking back to camp.

Firetail scented Honeynose on her way back from a patrol. He also smelled NightTribe. He padded towards the border to find a NightTribe apprentice clumsily chasing a squirrel across the border. He ran in front of her and she skidded to a stop, letting the squirrel run up a tree.
"Who are you and what do you think your doing?!" he questioned.
She looked up at him.
"I don't need to be questioned for chasing our squirrel." the apprentice spat.
"Once it crosses the border, it's our squirrel." Firetail said, and sheathed his claws.
She growled.
"Brave, for a young apprentice." Firetail smirked.
The apprentice lunged at him, just as Mistpaw did before, and he sidestepped. He then ran up in front of her again, forcing her towards the river. Firetail kept walking forward, he planned to force her into the fast-flowing river.
The apprentice growled at him, but he kept walking; his eyes threatining (sp) to claw her into pieces.
Then it happened, she fell in, even though she was a NightTribe cat, she could not fight the current.
Firetail turned around and let her drown.
He caught up with Mistpaw and padded back to camp.

(This will be a Tigerclaw/Ravenpaw thing, but Mistpaw doesn't have to run away. :3)

(The apprentice was Lilypaw)

Cloudpaw followed Hazelclaw, limping. How the heck does he expect my paw is going to survive this, and that I'm going to not be lamed. Or anything like that. He fumed.

(You said NightTribe has the lake and the area around it, look at the map. 8D)

The river runs in the territory near StormTribe's. So if Flametail had drowned an apprentice, he would have done it in StormTribe's territory. Or so I think.

"You smell like NightTribe," Mistpaw commented as they padded back to camp. She smelled a slightly familiar scent, kind of like Lilypaw.

(The phrase "run away" is not in Mistpaw's vocabulary)

(I'm gonna make one more sister, if that is ok. xD She is not going to die, though. xD)

Firetail had to think fast. He couldn't tell her about what just happened.
"I was, er, checking up on the borders, making sure Honeynose and the patrol didn't have a fight or anything."

"Oh! Ok," Mistpaw said. Doesn't he trust Honeynose? Mistpaw, then quickly waved the thought aside.

*2 days later: Morning*
"Time to announce the cats going to the gathering!" Hazelclaw mews. "These are the cat's that are going; Rivereyes, Mistpaw, Nightwhisper, Treepaw, Firetail, Grayfur, Mintpaw, Swiftwhisker, Cloudpaw, Goldenowl, Hawkpaw, Mapletail, Dawnstar, and I." Hazelclaw announces. "We will leave a little after sun high." Hazelclaw finishes.

Darn it! I guess I'm not going to the gathering today, Thought Mistpaw.

(OH MY GOSH. Sorry I haven't ben on in SOOOO long ): I'm busy.... then... I forgot all about this. I'll try and be on every day now )"Okay. That sounds like a good group." Mapletail said.

Mistpaw headed towards the apprentices den. It was an uneventfull Gathering for her.

Hazelclaw pads into camp with a sparrow. It was all he could catch on the way back, because he was so tired. He sets the sparrow down on the fresh-kill pile and heads to his den. He curls up and thinks about who to put on the patrols tomorrow. Grayfur can lead the NightTribe border patrol. He'll take Mintpaw, Swiftwhisker and Cloudpaw... Applefur will lead the StormTribe border patrol. He'll take Nightwhisper, Treepaw, and Goldenowl... I'll lead the hunting patrol. I'll take Cherrypaw, Mistpaw, and Firetail..... Hazelclaw doses off after he decides who to put on what patrol.

**Morning**

Mistpaw awoke to the morninglight streaming into the apprentice's den. She got up and carefully made her way out.
