SunTribe RP [M]

This is the thread for SunTribe RPing.

Mapletail streched out her body in the early morning sunlight. Today she had to gather some more herbs for her collection. She quietly left camp and began looking around for juniper berries.

(oh and btw it's around midnight)
Swiftwhisker twitched in her sleep, and soon sprang awake. She looked around quickly, before quieting down and exiting the den. She stretched under the moonlight and yawned. She saw Mapletail slip into the forest and Swiftwhisker followed.

Only about 10 minutes later did Mapletail realize she was being followed. She herd a rustle behind her and spun around in horror, to see it was onlt Swiftwhisker following her. "Swiftwhisker!" she exclaimed, "What are you doing?"

"I culdn't sleep, and I saw you go out so I followed you." Swiftwhisker lightly stammered. She did have a right to go out whenever she wanted to.
(oh and this is later, closer to dawn)
Soon Swiftwhisker heard a light rustle and a flash of white. She frowned, wondering what could that be.

Mapletail flicked her ear, ignoring the rustle. "Oh, okay. Well since you're here, could you help me by bringing back the catmint and goldenrod?" she gestured her head towards the herbs.

Honeynose had gone out for the dawn patrol and so far she had caught a large mouse and buried it.
She overheard Mapletail and went to go fetch some catmint, as she was already headed that way.

Mapletail's ears perked as she heard Honeynose approaching. "Hello, Honeynose. What can I get for you?"

Cloudpaw heard Swiftwhisker and padded over to the others, carrying some fish, a rabbit and a squirrel on his back. Swiftwhisker saw him and went over.
"Need some help?" he teased as he grabbed the squirrel and they padded to camp.

(Honey, you're Dawnstar!)

(That's what I needed to know. xD I was all confused.)
"Hm? Oh, nothing, should we go get some catmint?" Honeynose said.
She looked into the bushes, as if she sensed something was watching them, but she decided it was nothing.

"Oh, of course! Thanks" Mapletail said turning her head towards the catmint.

Honeynose walked through the underbrush with Mapletail.
"Hey, um, did you hear something back there?" Honeynose looked worried.

Mapletail was also a little worried, but tried to hide it with her words. "Oh, I don't think it's anything to worry about," she stuttered looking back. "Come on, let's go."

"Dawnstar, when shall we leave for the gathering? And who are we taking with us?" Hazelclaw asks the leader. "I was thinking we could take Cloudpaw, Mapletail, Grayfur, and Mintpaw." Hazelclaw says.

"Whatever you say." Honeynose replied, but she sensed the nervousness in Mapletail's words.

"In a bit," Dawnstar replied. "Good choices, that is exactly who I will bring."

Mapletail walked back to camp with Honeynose. She put her herbs on the grass and said "Please put those over there," she gestured her head over to a small cave like area. Then she picked up her herbs and put them in a neat pile.

Honeynose gently took the catmint and put them in a neat pile within the cave.

Dawnstar stood on high rock.
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the High Rock for a clan meeting."
Honeynose was the first one there.
Dawnstar continued. "Honeynose you are now ready to take on an apprentice. You will mentor Cherrypaw. Honeynose, you have shown yourself to be loyal and very kind to all of the clan. And now I ask you to pass down all you know to this apprentice."
Honeynose touched her nose to Cherrypaws.

Cherrypaw's eyes sparkled with delight. She was happy to finally have a mentor and become an apprentice.

Mintpaw started the cheer for Cherrypaw. "Cherrypaw! Cherrypaw! Cherrypaw!" She cheered. Mintpaw ran up to Cherrypaw "I can't believe you're an apprentice now! Maybe you can come train with me and Grayfur tomorrow," Mintpaw exclaimed.

Grayfur walked up to Honeynose, "Good job Honeynose," Grayfur complimented. I was thinking Cherrypaw and you could come train with Mintpaw and I tomorrow," Grayfur explained. "What do you think?" Grayfur asked politely.

Cherrypaw smiled. She had never been so happy! "That sounds really fun but I want to spend my first day as an apprentice with Honeynose! Maybe some other day?"

Mapletail walked up beside Honeynose. "Congratulations, Honeynose,"she said," and I think that that would be fun if you two went with your apprentices together tomorrow."

"Thank you and that sounds like a good idea." Honeynose mewed.
Honeynose went over to Dawnstar.
"Congratulations on your first apprentice" Dawnstar said to Honeynose.
"Thank you, but that's not what I came to talk about." Honeynose replied in a stern voice.
"What's the problem?" Dawnstar mews in curiosity, but you could tell she was listening attentively,
"On the dawn patrol I heard something in the bushes and it sounded big."
"I'll tell the other warriors to keep an eye out." Dawnstar said looking into Honeynose's eyes.

Honeynose then turned to Mapletail.
"Thank you, and I think that is what we will do."

Hazelclaw walked over to Dawnstar "I can't help it, but I overheard what Honeynose said. I think we should send bigger patrols, because if it really is big... well, we have to be prepared in camp, and on our patrols." Hazelclaw meows. "But the thing is, I don't think we have enough warriors to keep up with big patrol," Hazelclaw meows frowning.

"Thats what I was thinking." Dawnstar said, also frowning.
"But we can't think about that right now, we must get to the gathering, please go get Cloudpaw, Cherrypaw, and Mintpaw? They should all be in th apprentice den. I'll go get Grayfur and Mapletail."

"I think Cherrypaw should stay. All apprentices usually don't go to their first gathering until they have been an apprentice for at least a moon or two. And besides, we need at least one apprentice here, because we still need to guard the camp. Especially with whatever that thing Honeynose heard lurking around here somewhere." Hazelclaw mews. "But I will go get Mintpaw and Cloudpaw for the gathering," Hazelclaw meows as he walks to the apprentice's den. "Cloudpaw! Mintpaw! We're leaving for the gathering! Hurry up and get out here," Hazelclaw meows.
"Huh?! Oh yeah! The gathering," Mintpaw meows as she scrambles out of the den. "Come on Cloudpaw! Let's get going," Mintpaw mews excitedly.

Dawnstar went into the warriors den, where she found Grayfur taking a nap.
"Grayfur, time for the gathering." She said in a voice that was soft so no one else could hear it, but loud enough to wake him up.
