SunTribe RP [M]

Goldenowl raced after him.

Hawkpaw pulled to a stop at the training clearing, right before Goldenowl. "What are we going to work on?" Hawkpaw asks.

Cloudpaw and Swiftwhisker came back, with a rabbit, two mice and a hawk between them. Cloudpaw carried the rabbit and mice to the fresh-prey pile, and dropped them there, and then picked up the hawk and put it there as well.
"I caught a rabbit, 2 mice and a hawk!" Cloudpaw boasted to whoever was at the clearing.

"We need to organize the dusk patrols," Hazelclaw meows. "Grayfur, you can lead the patrol for the StormTribe border. Take Mintpaw and Firetail with you." Hazelclaw instructs. "I will lead the NightTribe border patrol, I will take Honeynose and Cherrypaw," Hazelclaw meows thoughtfully. "Good catch by the way Cloudpaw!" Hazelclaw praises the apprentice.
Grayfur nods and signals for Mintpaw and Firetail to follow.
When they get to the StormTribe border Grayfur starts marking the borders.
Mintpaw does the same as Grayfur. "I wonder how StormTribe is doing, with the wolves and all.." Mintpaw wonders out loud.
"They are a strong Tribe of many cats, I'm sure they're fine." Grayfur tells Mintpaw.

Hazelclaw signals for his patrol to follow him. "Come on, we need to hurry and patrol the border. On the way back we will take a short time to catch some prey," Hazelclaw tells his patrol, as he pads out of camp toward the NightTribe border.

((Sorry ive been gone, i've been camping!))

Mistpaw sat around feeling useless. She wished she had gotten asigned to one of the patrols, sitting around was not fun.

Hazelclaw came back to camp with a squirrel. He dropped it on the fresk-kill pile.

((I don't think she has been given one, I made her in the middle of the wolf fight))

(Oh. Do you want Hazelclaw to be her mentor then?)

((Sure!))

Mistpaw sat up and yawned. She went up to the fresh-kill pile, took a mouse, and went to the elders den.

Hazelclaw pads up to Mistpaw. "Do you want to go to the training hollow?" He asks.

Mistpaw drops the piece of prey in front of one of the elders. "Sure!" Mistpaw said excitedly.

Hazelclaw pads out of the camp. He then races to the training hollow, seeing if Mistpaw can keep up. I will note if she can keep up or not. Hazelclaw makes a mental note.
He pulls to a stop at the training hollow.

Mistpaw races after Hazelclaw, using her long legs to keep a tail length behind him. She skid to a stop at the training hollow.

"Come at me. Use your best tactic," Hazelclaw instructs.

Mistpaw nods and runs through taticts in her head quickly. She feints going one way and attacks from the other side.

Hazelclaw quickly dodges. "Nice move, but it's known by the other Tribes," Hazelclaw remarks as he rolls underneath Mistpaw and scratches her belly with sheathed claws. He then quickly rolls out from underneath her and jumps to his paws. Then he swipes her side, still with sheathed claws. "That was a move I made up when I was an apprentice," Hazelclaw mews. "Would you like to learn it?" He asks.

"Sure!" Mistpaw mewed excitedly. Her eeyes gleamed with excitement at learning something the other tribes don't know

"Okay. First of all, practice rolling underneath me and scratching my belly with sheathed claws. After you get a few good blows in you have to quickly roll out from underneath me," Hazelclaw tells her. "Now try that on me," He mews.

Mistpaw did as Hazelclaw said. She did the move okay, but wa a little clumsy.

*About 30 minutes later*
(It's almost Dusk)

"We can work more on this tomorrow," Hazelclaw meows. "It's getting late, we need to get back to camp," He tells Mistpaw.
When they get back to camp Hazelclaw grabs two mice and gulps them down hungrily. After he finishes he pads over to the warriors den and thinks about who should be in the morning patrols tomorrow. Mistpaw and I can't because we're going to go to the training hollow. I suppose we could go on a morning patrol though. Hazelclaw rethinks his first thought. Nightwhisper and Treepaw could go on a morning patrol and train with me and Mistpaw later in the day. Applefur will lead the NightTribe border patrol with Nightwhisper and Treepaw. Yes.. Yes, that will work. Hazelclaw decides. I will lead the patrol on the StormTribe border with Mistpaw and Swiftwhisker. That will be it for the border patrols. Hazelclaw mutes to himself. Honeynose will lead a hunting patrol with Cherrypaw, Grayfur, and Mintpaw. Cherrypaw, Mintpaw, Treepaw, and Mistpaw will need they're first assessment soon. Hazelclaw realizes. Grayfur, Honeynose, and I will give them they're assessment's the day after tomorrow. Hazelclaw decides as he doses off.

Hazelclaw stretches and quietly pads out of the warriors den, trying not to disturb the last few of the warriors still sleeping.
As he pads out of the den into the camp he see's Grayfur and Nightwhisper talking and sharing a sparrow, Mintpaw and Hawkpaw were practicing their battle moves, and Treepaw was sitting eating a mouse. Flowerwhisker was outside sun bathing, while her two kits, Amberkit and Brackenkit were crawling and playing with their father, Applefur.
Hazelclaw walks over to the fresh-kill pile and grabs a mouse. He pads over to Grayfur and Nightwhisker and sits down by them. He takes a bite out of his mouse. "Mintpaw, Mistpaw, Treepaw, and Cherrypaw will have to do they're first assessment soon. I was thinking tomorrow would be best. What do you two think?" Hazelclaw asks the two warriors. He takes the last bite of his mouse, and finishes it.
"I think that would work out great," Nightwhisper mews. She takes a bite out of the sparrow.
"I agree," Grayfur meows, as he finishes his part of the sparrow.
"I was thinking Treepaw and you, Nightwhisper, could go to the training hollow with Mistpaw and I later today. Do you think that will work?" Hazelclaw asks.
"I think that would work, but what about Grayfur and Honeynose, and their apprentices?" Nightwhisper asks, as she takes the last bite of the sparrow and finishes it.
"Honeynose and I could go to the training hollow this morning, with our apprentices," Grayfur suggests.
"I think that will work," Hazelclaw remarks as he walks over to the bottom of the Ledge of Rock to announce the patrols. He waits as the cats that are awake gather around him.
"Applefur will lead a patrol for the NightTribe border. She will take Nightwhisker and Treepaw." Hazelclaw meows. "I will lead the patrol for the StormTribe border. I will take Mistpaw and Swiftwhisker." Hazelclaw says as he ends the border patrol assigning. "Honeynose will lead a hunting patrol with Cherrypaw, Grayfur, and Mintpaw." Hazelclaw meows as he finishes off the patrols.
Grayfur nods, and signals Mintpaw over with his tail to come sit down with him and wait for Honeynose and Cherrypaw. "Stay here," Grayfur mews as he pads over to the warriors den. "Honeynose wake up, you're leading the hunting patrol," Grayfur meows.
He then walks over to the apprentice's den to wake Cherrypaw up. "Cherrypaw, wake up! You're in the morning hunting patrol," Grayfur meows as he walks back over to Mintpaw and sits down waiting.

Applefur sits and waits for the rest of his patrol.
"Treepaw! Come on, we're on a border patrol," Nightwhisper meows as she goes to sit over by Applefur.
Treepaw quickly finishes his mouse and pads over by Nightwhisper and Applefur.
"Is everyone here?" Applefur asks.
"Yes, all of us are here." Nightwhisper answers.
Applefur nods and heads out of the camp toward the NightTribe border. When they get to the border they find a NightTribe patrol furiously marking they're borders. Applefur looks at them confused. "What happened here?" He asks.
"Don't act like you don't know! One of you crossed the border!" One of the cats hisses.
"No we didn't!" Nightwhisper hisses back. "Go back to camp and get some back up," She whispers to Treepaw.
Treepaw nods and races back to the camp.

Hazelclaw nods as he has his whole patrol and heads towards the StormTribe border. They mark the border and head back to camp.

Treepaw rushes into the camp panting. "A fight is about to breakout on the NightTribe border!" He meows. "Nightwhisper sent me back to camp to get help!" He pants.

Hazelclaw heard Treepaw yelling, because his patrol wasn't to far from camp. "Come on! We need to get back to camp right away!" He tells his patrol as he races toward the camp. Him and his patrol burst into the camp. "What's going on?" Hazelclaw asks?
"NightTribe is accusing us of trespassing onto their territory. And Nightwhisper sent me back to camp to get some back up, because we think a fight is going to happen!" Treepaw explains.
"Mintpaw, Swiftwhisker, and I will come to help," Hazelclaw meows. "Lead us to where Applefur and Nightwhisker are," Hazelclaw instructs.
Treepaw nods and races out of camp. Hazelclaw and the rest of the back up patrol following.

((I was told I could RP Applefur, Nightwhisker, Riverbreeze, and Flamesong))
Applefur stood beside his clanmates as they all hissed at eachother. I'm ready to fight as I'll ever be, he thought.
Nightwhisker's fur stood on end, and she growled loudly.

Riverbreeze stood on the border, head held high as he waited for the first cat to move.
Flamesong's tail lashed, and he paced back and forth behind Riverbreeze.

Hazelclaw shrieks in pain as Reedstone pummels his back. Hazelclaw thinks quick. He goes limp and moves out of the way before his is crushed by Reedstone. He then quickly moves behind Reedstone and while Reedstone is looking around for him he dives underneath him and gets a few good hard hits in before Reedstone caves on top of him. Hazelclaw is surprised when he is rammed into and knocked over. He screeches in pain when his tail is bitten and he's scratched on his side. He scrambles to his feet to see his attacker. Is that Nightpaw from NightTribe? I can't fight an apprentice..!
"Come on! Too chicken to fight me?!" The NightTribe apprentice taunts him.
"That's it!" Hazelclaw screeches as he bolts toward her.
He see's her jump up in the air and watches her. She lands squarely on his shoulders and pummels his back. On top of doing that she scratches his sides. He screeches in pain and feels her suddenly jump off.
He see's three cats running and pull to a stop and one of them, Fallstar..? yelled something. Hazelclaw didn't hear what he said but he pushed the NightTribe cat's back on their side of the border.
"Let's finish marking to borders, and go back to the camp..." Hazelclaw meows as he starts marking the borders.
The rest of the patrol does what he says.
When they finish, Hazelclaw and his patrol limp back to the camp. When they get back, they all go to the Medicine Cat's den to get treated.

Mstpaw sits in camp, cleaning her paws. How come I never get to go fight, how I always have to be the good little apprentice, Mistpaw thought angrily. Her rsonable side said, It's for the good of the clan, I'm probably just not ready yet.
