"The rain would stop it from spreading!" He responded. He winced as he tried to stand, his foot sore and most likely broken. Swiftwhisker jumped to Cloudpaw's tree and picked him up, and dropped down with Swiftfoot.

Hazelclaw nods and screams over the thunder "Yes! I think we should! But we need to hurry and be careful because trees are falling!! Follow me. Grayfur, can you carry Dawnstar on your back?" Hazelclaw asks as he climbs down the tree.
"Yes, I guess I can," Grayfur meows as he nudges Dawnstar onto his back.
"Mintpaw and Cloudpaw, stay together! Grayfur, after you get Dawnstar, come up and stay next to me. Swiftfoot and Swiftwhisker, stay together. Mistpaw, you go with Thistlethorn, okay? Honeynose, is Mapletail still here? If she is you will walk with her and bring up the rear. Does everyone have a partner now?" Hazelclaw demands.
Mintpaw walks over to Cloudpaw and stands next to him. "Cloudpaw and I are ready to go!" Mintpaw meows to Hazelclaw.
Grayfur trudges over to Hazelclaw. "I'm ready," Grayfur mews to Hazelclaw.
Hazelclaw nods to Mintpaw and Cloudpaw, then nods to Grayfur. "Now all we need is an okay from Swiftfoot and Swiftwhisker, and Honeynose and Mapletail," Hazelclaw mews.

"I hope so," Mistpaw muttered to heself. She jumped down and landed. The shock of the land hurting her legs for a moment. "Okay!," Mistpaw said.

"Mistpaw and Thistlethorn are ready!" Mintpaw tells Hazelclaw.
Grayfur scanned the cats for Mapletail and Honeynose. Where are they? We need to get out of here now! Grayfur thinks impatiently.

Cloudpaw limped next to Mintpaw. Swiftwhisker and Swiftfoot yowled "All clear!" to Hazelclaw. And they walked close to Mintpaw and Cloudpaw, but not too close.

"You can lean on me if you want," Mintpaw whispered to Cloudpaw with a warmth she'd never had in her voice before. If cat's could blush, she would've. But cat's can't blush, so she just shied her head away embarrassed.

(Honeynose now has a crush on Grayfur.)


Honeynose nodded in agreement. She had a large gash on her flank, it stopped bleeding, but it still ached.
"Thank you for helping me." she said to Grayfur. She licked his ear.

Grayfur was now going to show off a little. "Oh, no problem. You're my Tribemate, you were in trouble, I had to help you," Grayfur says like it was nothing. "That gash looks like it hurts," Grayfur says frowning. "Here, let me help you," He mews as he bends down and starts licking it to get all the dried blood off. "You should go see Mapletail," He says smiling, then he nudges her off toward Mapletail.

Honeynose went by Mapletail.
"Could you do something to this?" Honeynose asked.

Grayfur stared after Honeynose, a newly found passion in his eyes. I think I'm falling in love with Honeynose..! Grayfur thinks kind of shocked.

Honeynose sighed, and she swooned, and shes humming little tunes~

(JK, inside joke)

Honeynose sighed, she looked at Grayfur, then at the ground.
Was she in love?

Hazelclaw lead the patrol the the moors, and under the great rock Cloudpaw mentioned. By the time they got there (which didn't take very long) Dawnstar had enough of her strength back, and was more aware of her surroundings.
Grayfur gently set Dawnstar down underneath the rock and walks over to the back of the cave and lays down to think. Am I really in love with Honeynose? If I am, how did I fall in love so fast? So many questions, and answers I can't think of.. Grayfur thinks as he crosses his paws and lays his head on his paws. He sighs and lays there staring out into space it would seem to someone who didn't know what he was thinking about.
Mintpaw thinks hard. Do I really have a crush on Cloudpaw? Mintpaw walks into the cave with Cloudpaw.

Once Mapletail was done with Honeynose, she went to where Grayfur was laying down. She sat down next to him.

Love......Honeynose.....questions, and answers... she unwillingly thought.

Huh?! What? Who's there?! she thought.
Honeynose got up, she looked worried.

Grayfur shot up, like he was coming out of a trance. "Huh?! When did you get here Honeynose?" He asks confused. "And what's wrong? You look like something scared you," Grayfur mews worriedly. He licks her ear to try and comfort her.

"What?!" Honeynose was confused.
"Who...why?......"
She sat down.

"Honeynose... I have something to tell you.." Grayfur mews quietly. He licks her ear with a new found warm affection.

Cloudpaw limped over to Mapletail.
"A wolf squished my paw." He said, pain showing slightly in each word.
Swiftfoot and Swiftwhisker were standing guard, and talking. They had become really good friends at the battle, and were joking around.

Mintpaw stared at Cloudpaw, wanting to tell him how she feels. But she's too afraid her feelings will get hurt to tell him. She looks away and starts heading toward Grayfur.

(I'm not good with medicine cats :/)
When Mapletail was done treating Cloudpaw's paw, she gave him poppy seeds.
"Eat these, they will help ease the pain."

"What?" Honeynose said to Grayfur.

Cloupaw thanked Mapletail, and walked over to the entrance where he licked up the poppy seeds. He stared out at the mountains, wondering how Bluepaw was feeling.

"I..." Grayfur didn't get to finish because right at that moment Mintpaw came over and sat down next to Grayfur.
"Hey Grayfur!" Mintpaw mews. "Did you get hurt bad at all?" Mintpaw asks.
"No, Mintpaw.. I'm in the middle of a very important conversation with Honeynose. Can we talk about this later please?" Grayfur tells/asks Mintpaw.
Mintpaw hangs her head. "Yeah, I guess." Mintpaw mews sadly.
"Mintpaw, it's not you. It's just you came over at the wrong time. After I finish talking to Honeynose, I promise I will sit down and you can talk to me about whatever you want to talk about. I'll be all ears for you, after I talk with Honeynose. Okay?" Grayfur meows.
"I understand.." Mintpaw mews.
Grayfur beckons to Honeynose with his tail. "Follow me," He whispers into her ear. "I'll go past the guards saying I have to go make dirt, a little while after that, you will say you have to go make dirt. I will meet you on top of the rock. After that I know where we can go to talk," Grayfur mews/whispers in Honeynose's ear. Grayfur walks to the front of the cave/rock, and walks out from underneath, waiting to be questioned of where he is going.

"Hey Grayfur! Where are you going?" Swiftwhisker called out. Cloudpaw glanced over to them and walked outside quickly. He hurried and came to the next great rock and lay down.

"I have to go make dirt, if it's any of your business. And I'm going to go catch some prey," Grayfur meows back, acting like he's kind of offended. He goes around to the back of the rock and waits for Honeynose.

"Okay, you don't have to be so grumpy." Swiftwhisker growled. She stretched out and watched outside. The rain was still pouring, and she thought she saw a flicker of white, but she dismissed it.

Cloudpaw looked at the mountains. My heart tugs me to them and Bluepaw, but my loyalty is making me stay. Who do I chose? Bluepaw, or Mintpaw. I know I'm too young to think of a mate, but I love Bluepaw. and Mintpaw is really nice. he thought.

It can't be so important that we must leave the camp, can it?

Honeynose waits a few moments, then she went out of the camp.

As soon as Grayfur see's Honeynose he waves his tail to her beckoning her over. "Honeynose, ppsstt. Over here!" He whispers just loud enough so only she can hear.
