"You can start your training tomorrow," Bravestar mews to Bluepaw.
Runningfur nodded.
Skyblaze nodded and headed toward the entrance to the camp.
"Sure!" Flowerpaw mews as she quickly dashes out of the camp and starts to hunt. She comes back to camp with 3 mice. She drops one on the fresh kill pile and takes the other two to the elders.

"Okay!" Bluepaw mewed cheerfully.
"Thanks Flowerpaw." Lilypool mewed as she bit into the mouse.

Stripefern woke up and nodded her thanks to Flowerpaw for the mouse.
"You're welcome," Flowerpaw mews to the two elders. "Do you need to be checked for fleas?" Flowerpaw asks, wanting to hear a story.

"I think I have one or two." Lilypool said, as she scratched behind her ear, "Don't know how they got here though." She murmured quietly. "And I bet you want to hear a story, eh?" She said, brightening up.

"Yes! I love your stories!" Flowerpaw mews. She starts searching through Lilypool's fur and finds a flea. She quickly bites it and crushes it.
She soon finishes getting rid of the fleas on Lilypool and moves onto Stripefern.

"You know of the Ancient Code, yes? Well, there was a time, when the code didn't exist, or barely existed. There is one rule, of that new warriors must sit vigil on the night they are made warriors. But before this rule was made, in a Clan, there were some new warriors, foolish and mouse-brained..." Lilypool said, telling the story to Flowerpaw.

Flowerpaw sits intently in front of Lilypool, because she'd finished with getting rid of the fleas on the two elders.

"They weren't mentors, and there weren't enough apprentices for them to be mentors, so they came up with all of these games that could be fatal, or badly injuring. Their medicine cat went to the Moonstone to ask StarClan, their ancestors, for help. What he got was a dream, of responsible cats, reporting, and being, well, helpful. So he went to their leader, and told him, that the solution to making the warriors more serious, is for them to sit vigil, to sit for one night and watch over their Clanmates. The leadre was unconvinced, but he would try. While on vigil, the warriors chased off a fox, and so, they made a suggestion to add the rule that all new warriors must sit vigil for one night, to the Ancient Code. And as you can see, it is." Lilypool finished, "And now I'd like to be able to sleep, so shoo!"
"Where should we go hunting?" Thunderspark asked Foxleaf and Stormtail.
"I think we should go to the stream. We could find something there." Stormtail replied.

"That was an awesome story! Thanks for telling me the story Lilypool," Flowerpaw mews as she walks out of the Elder's den.

"You're welcome!" Lilypool called out as she circled around her nest and curled up.
Ravensong was sitting, her tail curled up around her paws.

Bravestar walks up to Ravensong. "Do you think we could take a large group of the Tribe and go to the training area?" He asks. "I was thinking we could do a group training. Don't you think that would be fun?" Bravestar mews. "We'll have to leave enough cats for the dusk patrols though," Bravestar adds.

"I sent Stormtail, Foxrain, Thunderspark and Flowerpaw to go hunting, and 2 patrols for the borders, of cats who weren't injured too badly. I think when they come back, or the day after tommorow, we can do group training. Remember, some cats weren't spared much from injury." Ravensong replied. nodding to herself at the last part.

"Oh yeah... I think the day after tomorrow would be best," Bravestar mews. "Who shall we send on the dusk patrol?" Bravestar says. "I think I saw Flowerpaw back in camp already. We can send Mossreed to lead a patrol, with Thornclaw and another cat of your choice..." Bravestar meows thoughtfully. "I want to lead a patrol, since I haven't really done any warrior duties in a long time, and I'm in the mood to lead a patrol... I'll take Thunderspark and... Can you choose the other cat in my patrol?" Bravestar mews.

"Umm, Bravestar. Thunderspark should be going to hunt, along with Flowerpaw. I sent Flowerpaw to bring fresh-prey to the elders and queens before she went hunting. And we don't really need a dusk patrol. Just a patrol to check one border, and another to check the other, and there. I've already sent them out." Ravensong said.

"So the stream it is!" Thunderspark mewed, and Stormtail headed over to Ravensong.
"We're going to go hunting at the stream." He said, and Ravensong nodded. He walked out of camp, followed by Thunderspark, Foxrain and Flowerpaw.

Flowerpaw quickly ran a mouse to the queens. They were sleeping so she quietly put it down by the entrance. She quickly padded back in line and followed the hunting patrol.
"Oh... Well those will be the morning patrol for tomorrow then," Bravestar meows. "Thunderspark and Foxrain have to sit vigil tonight," Bravestar adds.

"They can get back before vigil, as the stream where they are going has an easy access, and is not too far away." Ravensong mewed.

Flowerpaw sniffs the air and smells a mouse. She stalks up behind the mouse, and she accidentally steps on a leaf and scares the mouse. She pounced, but missed the mouse.
She sniffs the air again and smells a rabbit. She stalks quietly forward, and pounces on the rabbit. She bites it neck and kills it. She buries the rabbit by a tree and scents a sparrow. By the time the hunt is done she has a rabbit, a magpie, and a vole.

Thunderspark stalked throughout the rocks, until he got to the stream. He ducked low, and rolled on the mud, to disguise himself in. He couched, and tasted the air. The warm breeze blew lazily at him, and the sun setting, made the sky orange. But he didn't care. He tasted the air again, and looked up, and saw a hawk far off. Pity, it coul've made a good meal... Thunderspark thought. He saw a rabbit, and he let himself wait, until a shadow passed over him and he lept up and clawed the bird. It screeched in fury, and tried to get off the ground, but Thunderspark bit it's throat as hard as he could and they landed on the ground.
Stormtail also had rolled in mud, and he crept forward, and stopped when he saw a rabbit. He pounced, and bit it's neck, in a clean quick bite.

Cherryfall woke up, and quietly slipped away from the kits. She ate the mouse quickly, and then grabbed 2 chicks at the fresh-prey pile. She slipped back in, and put one near Ferncloud, and she ate the other chick.
Icekit woke up, and opened her eyes, and stretched.

Ferncloud woke up and saw the chick. She hungrily devours it.
Lionkit mews and squirms, bumping into Cloudkit, making Cloudkit bump into Snowkit.
( boring post, But I can't think of anything else DX )

Icekit tried to scramble over Cherryfall, but couldn't make it. She let out a meow of protest and tried again. Cherryfall grabbed her daughter's scruff and put her back in the nest.
"Don't bother Ferncloud or her kits." She warned.

Owlkit woke up and opened his eyes. The nursery was huge, and some light came form what he thought was the entrance. He looked at Ferncloud and crouched down and crept toward the entrance. Icekit saw him and scampered around Cherryfall to Owlkit.
"hi, I'm Icekit! Are you Owlkit?" Icekit said to Owlkit. Owlkit nodded with a shh.
"I'm trying to get out to explore the camp." he whispered. Icekit nodded in understanding and crept out of the nursery next to him.
Icekit blinked many times as she got outside.
"Wooooww..." she breathed, "Coming?" She asked Owlkit.
"Of course!" Owlkit exclaimed and they started to walk around camp. They stopped at the warrior's den, and Icekit peeked inside. Rainclaw was curled up, sleeping. Owlkit shoved her aside and looked in, and then wriggled out.
"What den do you think it is?" Icekit asked Owlkit, curious.
Owlkit turned his head slightly sideways, pondering hte question. There was the scent of many cats, and the cat that was sleeping was pretty big.
"I think it's the warrior's den." He replied. Icekit nodded and they ran to the next one.

Ferncloud woke up again and saw that Owlkit was gone. She also noticed Icekit was gone. They probably went to explore the camp together.
Lionkit groggily opens his eyes. The nursery is so much bigger than I thought it'd be... Lionkit thinks amazed. He looks at Ferncloud and see's his mother for the first time. He looks around the den and spots Cherryfall. He could recognize her by her smell. He started toward the small gap in the den, which he thought must be the entrance.
Ferncloud opened her eyes slightly and gently put her paw on Lionkit's tail. "Where do you think you're going?" She asks.
"Outside. Can I go outside, please?" Lionkit asks pleadingly.
"Wait until you have another kit to go outside with please," Ferncloud tells Lionkit. She picks him up and lays him back down by his siblings.

Russetshadow walked into camp, carrying some fresh-kill in his mouth. The past few days had been a blur, hunting, taking care of Liondapple, going on patrols, and everything. But nothing seemed to stand out in the past days except for Liondapple, who would be kitting any day now. He sighed, and took a large squirrel from the pile and brought it into the Nursery for Liondapple.

"Hi RussetShadow," Ferncloud greeted him as he walked into the nursery. "How are you doing today?" Ferncloud asks.

Owlkit and Icekit bounded to the leader's den, not knowing that it was. Some lichen hung limp, and Icekit could see darkness beyond it.
Both of them peeked inside the den, not recognizing the scent.
"It smells of only one cat." Owlkit mewed, confused.
"Of course it does." Bluepaw mrrowd as she dropped the moss she was carrying. "It's Bravestar's den."
Owlkit and Icekit blinked at Bluepaw in surprise. THey hadn't know it was Bravestar's den.
"Will you tell him?" They asked Bluepaw, not wanting to get in trouble.
"Yes. He will smell your scent there, but he is kind and forgiving." Bluepaw responded as she pushed her way in and started to roll up the old bedding.

Rosekit jumped awake in the nursery. Her eyes were open, and she only noticed that it was bright, and the den was huge. She saw Snowkit, and Cloudkit sleeping, and saw Lionkit itching to go outside.

Bravestar walks up to the two kits. "Exploring the camp for the first time?" Bravestar asks. "You must be Owlkit, and who are you?" He asks Icekit.

Lionkit saw that Rosekit had opened her eyes. He playfully ran up to her. "Mom, can we go outside now?" Lionkit asks. "Rosekit has opened her eyes," He adds.
"I guess. Be careful though!" Ferncloud calls after the two kits as they run toward the entrance.
Lionkit blinks his eyes several times before he got used to the bright light. "Where do you want to go first?" Lionkit asks. Then he see's Owlkit and Icekit. "Let's go by Owlkit and Icekit first!" He mews as he runs/tumbles over to Owlkit and Icekit.
"You're Lionkit and Rosekit," Bravestar mews smiling.
"How do you know my name?" Lionkit asks.
"I'm Bravestar, your father." Bravestar mews.
Lionkit sits there awed that his father is the Tribe leader.

"I'm Icekit!" Icekit says brightly. Owlkit was slightly stunned that his father was Bravestar, but he reminded himself that some things can be very odd. Rosekit followed Lionkit, and slightly turned her head sideways at Bravestar, studying him. Owlkit crept behind Bravestar and pounced on his tail.
